Preparatory Phase



Bilaterally flex elbow joint to 90 degrees in the sagittal plane, along the mediolateral axis of rotation. Then, slightly extend trunk about 10 degrees.

Shoulder Girdle:
R + L = Neutral


Shoulder Joint:
R + L = Neutral

Elbow Joint:
Flexed
Muscles used- Briceps Brachii, Brachialis, and Brachioradialis (Concentric)


Trunk:
Extended
Muscles used- Erector Spinae (Concentric)
